A friendly reminder to all members that a new executive committee must very soon be decided. The new team will lead the club to even greater success, and I encourage all members, including our newer members, to put their hand up and take on a role.
The executive committee roles include:
- President
- Vice President Education
- Vice President Membership
- Vice President Public Relations
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Sergeant-at-Arms
If you would like to know more about any particular role, just ask your friendly and approachable President Nicky Jurd.
Upcoming Speechfest on 29 April 2010
The Mt Sheridan Toastmasters club is holding a Speechfest on Thursday 29 April 2010, which is the third meeting in that month.
The programme is changed to incorporate 5 or 6 prepared speeches, and evaluations will be written only.
We invite all members, plus members of other Toastmasters clubs, to attend and nominate themselves for a speech.
