Great points, Nicky. It’s easy to forget that improving communication skills is just the first step of what Toastmasters can offer — there’s a slew of leadership training opportunities awaiting anybody who’s willing to give them a go.

Anybody who wants to be an Area Governor next year also has one more very important benefit: Both Nicky and I are available to provide handover, training and assistance
